Some thoughts stay.
Not loud, not dramatic – but persistent.
A little wild, a little bold. And somehow… overdue.

Since the pandemic, we’ve carried this quiet dream.
Of slowing down. Of exploring more – with less.
A tiny adventure. A home on wheels.
A summer in the North. With a dog, and with heart.
We let the idea go. Then it came back.
Again and again.
Until we finally asked:
Why not now?

Maybe because we finally feel ready.
Maybe because someday easily turns into never.
Because if we don’t go now, it might stay a dream forever – a quiet what if…?

We’re not in our twenties anymore, backpacking with no return ticket.
We’re (almost) 60 – deeply in the middle of life, maybe even entering its final big chapter.
With responsibilities. With routines. And yes, with a certain need for safety.

We’ve always loved adventure – but usually far away, somewhere overseas.
Camping? Not really our thing.
But lately, we’ve felt more alive than we have in years.

We’re not chasing youth.
We’re choosing freedom.
Because life doesn’t wait for the right moment.
And neither do dreams.

That’s why we’re doing it now.
Because life isn’t made of calendar weeks.
There’s no such thing as too young or too old to start something new.
Only brave – or not.
And we’ve decided to be brave.

We’re a team of three.
Don Blanco – a white VW California. Our newest companion.
Paco – our furry soulmate and best friend of nearly 12 years.
And us – eyes wide open. Curious. Slightly nervous.
Total camper rookies.
But ready to dive in.

We’re curious about the real-life version of this dream:
What does it mean to cook on two burners – with love and less space?
How does it feel to wake up with a view, but without a private bathroom?
How much water, gas, and power do we really need?
How do we be together in such a tiny space?
How does it feel to live lightly – and wildly?
And what happens when we don’t plan everything?

Comfort protects.
But sometimes it also shrinks us.
Out there, where things are uncertain, something else can grow:
Trust. Flexibility. Wonder.

It won’t all be comfortable.
But it will be real.
And that’s exactly what we’re here for.

We believe in living dreams – even the small, imperfect ones.
Especially those.
